Their support is pretty slow, so far I've been convincing him that the corrupted picture works on my end, if he agrees to replace it I'll try to box them, which will be my first attempt at it.
Simple FTID or something else?

I have no clue, I'll be open to suggestions.

If he keeps Insisting on a working file, tell him the format/extension may be responsible for the Issues on his end, so send It In different file formats.

It gives the Impression that you're doing your utmost best to solve the matter.

As usual I'll keep you updated!
thanks for posting, great info!

Did you try this on Intel or just AMD?
Did they ask for a S/N yet? It could be that the S/N is written on the CPU and they want the picture to get that.
I would try sending them the S/N along with the picture and any other info you have to prove you really have it.

They asked for the S/N on their form, what they're asking now for is a picture of the CPU on the motherboard with the S/N visble.

If you hadn't already used the corrupted file, you could've changed a few chars In the URL and said It's working perfectly fine on your end.

But given the current Issue Is that they're unable to open the file Itself, do what you've stated above.
