Truth about FTID #1
Hello everyone,

Im a new member so greetings to the forum members. I wanted to discuss about FTID method especially using it on Amazon in Europe.  Especially about the more advanced versions of it V3 and etc.  At first sight the method looks relatively simple and with a decent chance to work. Also, if you use it smart it might be pretty successful. However, I see some illogical parts. For lets say we jump to the part where we manually edit the pre-sent label. What is the point? I have an insider from UPS and he noted that label doesn't matter at all unless you have a technology to somehow modify the barcode itself in the system (maybe thats the case with advanced panel/insiders method, but let's leave this for now).  Any change on the label is irrelevant since everything is in the system, he also mentioned that  upon delivery you must scan the parcel again and that it is impossible if you are more than 200meters from the original address where you should deliver (I would tend to don't agree on this one cause that sounds like a nonsense to me). So now let's get back a bit. While everything with all that FTID sounds promising when you don't think about it, I can't let it slip through my mind that it is a nonsense as well since it shouldn't work for the reason I mentioned before. But there is a but. I have people who use FTID (even a primitive ones with an empty envelope) and they manage to success almost all the time with a really big orders and that is not some tale  form friend of my friend of my friend. So then I start asking myself - what I am missing. Is it pure look, dumb delivery guys (actually i don't even imagine why delivery guy should deliver the parcel based on what is written on the label and not in the system)  or some Amazon warehouse nonsense.. Or maybe I am completely wrong about the delivery company and the importance of the label, maybe the UPS insider guy doesn't have the knowledge about the importance of the label and that somehow it might be actually  modified to cause some forcing delivery mistakes. I would like to hear your opinions, thank you.

Each company is different in how they operate. And as such different methods need to be used for FTID. For me it has a high success rate, about 90% I'd say. Done around £30ks worth this year. Mainly designer clothes and Google.

Would you say this FTID method will work or is it too simple?

I wouldn't use that guide. Edit QR code too. Wouldn't use a basic envelope either. At least use a small box with something inside. I post a pack of biscuits but could be anything.

Yes, but let's say we talk only about Amazon for now. Also, about the logic of FTID when we manually change the address. I imagine that there are some methods when the FTID is adjusted somehow in a private way hence has a higher success rate. But I wanted to discuss not about exact step by step on how someone does that, but more about the basic logic on why we should change stuff which does not result as it should. I might repeat myself but the main question is "why delivery guy should deliver the package/envelope with a pre-made label based on what is written on the label instead of what the system and scans state?"

^ Nailed It.

If we were still In the 60s, whereby drivers delivered packages purely based on what's written on the shipping label, then yes, the flawed FTID will work.

But the thing is that it is not some kinda myth, which mythbsuster should try out. I know people who makes a living from these in my country. Some use advanced methods with insiders, but i know those who do even the silly envelope FTID methods and still are able to pull huge refunds even nowadays. So that is why I started to question the FTID method and the rumours around him, cause it seems that it shouldn't work at all, especially now, when it is not only illogical, but also abused badly by everyone everywhere. Still there are examples of it working like a charm. So maybe there are some ways how you can use it in your favor.

How would you explain the edited label logic? How you understand it?

That's a different story altogether.

The Insider Is responsible for the SE's success, not the so-called FTID.

If they're lucky enough to have Incompetent and brain-dead Individuals handling the shipment then yes, I agree It'll work.

As said In one article on my blog, I challenge anyone to use the so-called FTID on a handful of companies and their carrier partners of my choice, and I can guarantee without a shadow of a doubt that It will fail. No comments have been posted, of which their silence speaks a thousand words.

Well, this might prove not much, people who have some personal advanced method of FTID are able to pull those refunds on big orders and they might be not on the forum or nor interested  on showing off or willing to prove it just that someone would start believing in them.  As I mentioned before, my close and good friend has a guy who does all the refund stuff for 30%, since they are working for the past half year like that, that refund guy few times spilled some information about when doing it from Europe, "he uses the envelope which is never delivered to the actual return address". At that point i knew nothing about that, just thought , tried to deduct it myself - how it might be possible to deliver to the place where you have to and get the delivered status on the shipping, but at the same time deliver it elsewhere because he mentioned "that they will never find it".  So started searching internet, forums and when started noticing that there is a method called FTID and it  sounds something similar, it started to make sense what he meant. So there might only be a slight detail he does different from the basics that you can find in all those leaked FTID guides and that results in a successful refunds. (I can't tell how successful they are in total, but i'm sure that he did it 7 times for my friend and only once something went wrong since Amazon didn't wanted to issue the refund). So does the FTID still work? Maybe it depends on which Amazon you try to SE, maybe it depends to which country you order it, maybe there are some slight advances in the method, but yes, it is still viable. Also i forgot to mention that all orders were 5k euro or more.

I've made my points crystal clear.

I've written two In depth articles on my blog outlining It's flaws and Inconsistencies, both from a logistics and freight distribution standpoint. I suggest reading them to get an understanding of how companies and carriers operate, and why the so-called FTID Is destined to fail a lot more often than not.
