Provided they're not cancelled at the time of the refund, there'd be no reason for them to keep track of the tickets and check the activity, so you'll be fine.

Then you can SE the person at the entry gate of the festival, by saying they've just been purchased and It must be an error on their end.

yep upon further research of the specific festival terms I decided I'm not going through with the SE, they blatantly state that upon loss or damage no duplicate tickets can be offered by any provider and any tickets lost or damaged will be void, so if I DNA them I might get my money back but i won't get in to the festival which is not what I'm looking for haha

Update: No longer going through with the DNA, the festival-specific terms and conditions state that any damaged or lost tickets will be instantly void and no duplicates can be offered by any provider, so even if i successfully DNA it's essentially just me returning my tickets which I'm not exactly looking to do :/

I'm sure it is refundable, but the likelihood is that they'll simply void the tickets upon refund, which makes it useless

Well if they offer the refund I most likely wont be able to go to the festival, so although id have my money back, id still rather have the experience than the money tbh

Could try claiming tickets didn't work after the festival? Make claim as soon as you are inside saying you got turned away, low chance but worth a shot. Used to do this on PayPal when I was in college going to festivals.
