truth be told, no matter how sick you are (unless deathly bed ridden) the best thing to do while you are sick is to stay moving and doing normal everyday activities (depending on how contagious it is limits who or what you are doing)

but when im sick i like to work on cars and shit like a normal day. and in chill time i like to play video games and surf the web.

This Is true to some degree.

It's similar to having a back Injury. Years ago, they (doctors) used to wrap you In cotton wool (so to speak) and advise lying In bed. Nowadays, they say to remain as active as possible, thereby It speeds up the recovery process.
