Social engineering free products = fraud.
So, technically it's allowed, it's all over this section. Could possibly require a thread name change, but I don't see the difference between this and any "social engineering".

This. When you remove all the awesome free products, what you're pretty much doing is Insurance Fraud.

People just don't seem t get that. It should be more widely known. Considering SEing is getting popular.

Yeah, warranty fraud, to be exact. I'm not sure about smaller things that don't have a waranty, such as food. I think it's still possibly a crime though.

That's why we make the account to fuck over. Make two accounts, using two different proxies. Now, add some money to one of the accounts. Send it to the other account then spend that shit. Now, from the account that originally sent the money, dispute that shit. YOu got fucking robbed. If they ask for additional info, give it to them and bail on the account you spent the money from. Use Canadian paypals for this, maybe UK works too without verification. I don't recommend large amounts, and be careful. I could have been charged with fraud...i'm fucking lucky.

I have done this as well, I "bought" a virtual item off a guy not knowing it was against the paypal policy. Fought for an hour, yelled at the suprvisor and everything. They gave me a one time grace payment of $200 (what i paid for the item i sold my self lol) and let my other account keep the money too.... You can only do this one time and have to know who to be nice to and who to yell at lol

I did the same thing, except it wasn't exactly my paypal, and it got charged back. The account i used ended up with the money back, and the other one fucked. Thats why you use two brand new ones, created on different days, one older by at least a few weeks. And I really don't endorse this -_-

Discussing flaws in a company's replacement/warranty system isn't illegal. Discussing how the flaws can possibly be exploited isn't either. Of course, following any of the methods people discuss here is probably illegal - but it is just information. Now, by the same logic you would assume that it's alright to discuss credit card theft, etc... It isn't.

This is because:
  1. Our hosts forbid any discussion of credit card theft, etc...
  2. It is highly illegal, even more so than following the methods listed here.
  3. It would transform Sinisterly into a site that I would not wish to run.
I value freedom of speech and information, but credit card theft is too far, and I will never allow it.

Now you do understand that credit theft is just considered scamming right? my buddy was in jail for only 3months for draining $3k on a TV from bestbuy, Now if he would have Social Engineered that TV he would be serving for a lot longer as that's insurance fraud which is 15+ years in prison... I have researched these laws in the past, believe me you would much rather want to get caught doing CC fraud then insurance fraud.
