I feel like the only way to stop leechers off this website is if it was invite only. I'm not on any other forum except this one and I like it here since there are helpful people/mod that's been very helpful ever since I got back.
Agreed, it's nothing new.  On the first and only SE forums I was on, I would share all my methods and I regret that still.  Not because I'm selfish or because I didn't get thanked but simply because people would post my shit elsewhere and not even give me credit.  It was actually one of the main reasons I had no issue just leaving that community altogether.

I do have to say though, saturation will inevitably happen but it's not always a bad thing.  Back when I was heavily involed, it was one of the excitements.  To see if you can still pull it off or how far you have to go to get it only makes for a better SEer.

I feel like every community will have leechers unless the forum goes private/invite only. Leechers isn't that bad at all since they are only here for a couple of days to grab free methods that's been passed around and go from forum to forum. That's why I feel like it's a good thing we have a upgraded member section to keep the leechers out of the good methods. Regardless I feel like this community has a bunch of cool solid members that be helping each other out.  The only forum I know back in the day that was invite only was Astropid and I never got in that forum heard it was the best.
It's part of the game. At the end of the day, I'm just glad we have members interested in this.

Generally with our forum, I figured this went without saying. However, recent discussion has led me to believe otherwise. People are encouraged to read and follow our rules, especially those regarding illegal content. You have been warned - @Oni

Anyone is allowed to join us and that will never change. We do have more exclusive areas of the forum, if you want to minimize the spread of information (i.e. Upgraded/Deceit).

This pretty much, too.

You know how you mentioned deceit, wasn’t that another forum and the owner scammed some people?

I think he meant the group (here).

The main problem i have is the fact that these leechers as @"Strait McCool" did mention just post your methods elsewhere and don't give the main person who created the method credit in the first place also they would sometimes take credit for the actual method itself. it's just really fucked up, in my opinion, i gotta admit i did try to leech serial number in the past before but the fact that after i learned the rules and started adding constructive opinions to post/threads makes a lot of difference. in these months i feel that i have improved as a SEr and sharing your knowledge about what you know currently makes all the difference.

Most of the things I've learned here is because of experiences from people who've gone thru it. I was a lurking for 4 months reading about DNA's, Wrong Item, Partial and all other things before actually attempting it. Now that I'm experienced (been doing it for a year, haven't lost one refund as of yet) I like helping people whenever I can. I don't spoon feed information but I give enough info so you can figure it out in your own, which is essential for this. Thinking on your feet and being creative is really important, in my opinion. There will always be leechers, just don't spoon feed the info, nudge them on the right direction and let them figure it out.

this is the world now, and we can evolve right? methods shared around, people add some improvements to it etc.
