So there's this joke I've seen around refunding chats: the "CIB" method, meaning "cum in box."
I've seen different variations but the gist is you order something then call customer service acting outraged and disgusted because there is semen on the product in the box you received.
It's always said as a joke but I've wondered like, could that actually work?

If the company asks for proof, you can literally cum in the box and send them a picture. I doubt they can ask you to return it because couriers won't accept literal cum.
Worst case scenario they ask for proof of destruction/disposal, in which case you could use a fake box (or just take the product out and dispose of the actual box).

What do you guys think, am I onto something here?

This method is just a joke, no one does it or tries to attempt it. People are writing in telegram channels about these methods so that the leechers would go away, that's it. If you want to make yourself feel uncomfortable then do it, but you will not get any refunds or some kind of benefits of it.

@ruonis55 I’m sure you’re right about them just joking, but I think you’re being a little dismissive of the method’s potential.
Uncomfortable to do? Sure, but if it weren’t, then everyone would do it. That’s its “moat.”
Put yourself in the company’s shoes. Hearing this (especially if the customer uploads a picture as “proof”) is a massive both legal and PR risk if true. It’s without a doubt unlikely, but if I were a large, brand-conscious company that can absorb a loss or two, I’d at least seriously consider just refunding the customer. I might not even ask them to file a PR or anything like that as to keep the incident on the down low in case it’s actually true. People are weird. I’ve worked in a warehouse before, and there were some weird people.
