Nice addition to the thread, thanks. Great for the more expensive items like coffee, steaks and shit like that. When you mentioned doing a walkout it reminded me of something that works very well with large items at the self checkout. This is only really practical if you are shopping with a basket but if you pick up a large item like 6xlarge bottles of water or like 24 rolls of toilet paper you can easily just walk to the self checkout and place the large item on the ground beside the scales. Then just proceed to scan your other items and when you pay simply pick up the large item and walk out, just be wary of any potential alarm stickers on there. Cant remember the last time i paid for toilet paper  Wink

While true the most important difference here is that it can be performed in person and with cash. People dont give in person SE enough love round here.

Since it's food, you can easily say you threw everything away since Vinegar has a strong smell.

But I wonder how hard would it be to empty out the vinegar bottle in the sink, break it, and then throw some water a lil bit everywhere...

If you read the word Photoshopping, you will find what app is recommended to do so. lol!
Okay I request the refund and they sent me an email asking for a picture so I broke a random bottle and told them the vinegar was toxic and spilling everywhere. So they issued me a refund pretty easy thanks bro for the advice. Definitely going to attempt this again once I run out of groceries.

Told ya!

Then put the plastic on top, and get some cheap items that take up a lot of space like bread, chips, bottled water.

You can go to the self-checkout, but make sure to leave your bags where you load your groceries before scanning. So move them from your bag, scan them, and into the bagging area. When you have paid, move the items you paid for back into the bag and leave. Ideally pay in cash to be safe. If you've done this right, the camera that points down onto the scanner shouldn't see anything under the false bottom of the bag.

You can also go to the cashiers, but try to go to one that doesn't have a bagger, and say you'll just throw the items back into your own bag. In one instance I heard of, a cashier insisted on bagging and noticed the items under the bottom. Just feign ignorance and pay for the whole bag.

I have heard very good things about this method and it's ability to be used consistently. It is lower risk than concealing items on your person or doing a walkout. The downside is that you can't get a ton of groceries at once since the most you can carry is two bags, you have to spend money, and you have to be careful about managing your bags so you don't mess up at the checkout. One could probably construct something  in their bag to make this more reliable.

But do note, one of the biggest red flag for loss prevention is people putting items in their reuseable bags, and people doing shady stuff at the self-checkout. Just act normal, place your bottom items in quickly, and pay

Also, like any in-person SE, dress nice but not too nice. Try to look like you have some money or are too square to be doing anything that's frowned upon. Don't do the same stores over and over again.

Your method is more like ''I don't wanna pay for certain items''... my method is '' I don't wanna pay at all'' lol.

True, but it's lower risk than traditional in-person SE. If you do it right, you can hypothetically pay $10 for $50 of groceries and is safer to repeat. It works well inconjunction with other methods like marking food as spoiled on InstaCart to keep your bills down without getting banned too fast.. Hypothetically speaking, of course. Don't get too greedy though, they can build a case over time.

Just slap that baby over the barcode on your steak and enjoy a nice juicy steak for under £0.30. If you are wondering I choose carrots because it is the cheapest option to choose from where I reside.

Would love to hear your tricks for keeping the cost of groceries down

I do that with the hot food they serve like buffaqlo winds and pizza that is like $10  but the produce trick lowers it.

Once in a while when I'm drunk and angry and feeling Untouchable I'll just pick up 2 items scan one and then in my state you havbe to bring big burlap bags no more plastic.
so I take the bags out fill them up 3/4 and since there is no room anywhere toss them in right over loose unscanned items that I consider my salery for having to ring up my groceries and bag them.

They can play cat and mouse all they want neither one has a chance when im fuming, talking shit about the store loud to no one and am tired
Thats when I get about half of it free.

My mother is a pro at self checkout. She fills the cart with a ton of recyclable bags you bring your self then uses the scan gun and puts filled bags on top of items she never even takes out of the cart. She gets like half her groceries free.

I just use Walmart+ and Instacart and then check that every item was damaged or missing and they refund me.
Walmart refunds me even if I choose curbside pickup and even on the few items they say I have to return to the store but never do.
Plus if you use SNAP its back in your account in 3 hours.
Last month I checked my SNAP and somehow had $650 because I think Walmart fucked up and refunded me multiple times.
It's crazy I have so much food I can't even eat it before it goes bad.
Hey would you explain how do you ref the whole Walmart order for groceries? Cause for me it says to return the item. Also do you claim damaged, one by one?

Good question. I was doing this scam a few months ago and the first time I checked every item damaged I think and it worked.
Tip: If the reason you pick wants to make you return it back out and try every other option.

Then after about the 3 time I couldn'[t check them all at once. I could check like 4 or 5 pick s resason then go back and picks more.

The time after that they made me pick 1-2 items to complainm about everytime. But I fucking did it. And a few they did wantr me to return but i never did but i swear the next day my EBT went from about $100 left to over $600 and it was the middle of the month.  Walmart fucked up or they might refund you anyway if you don't go to the store.  Meat and items that spoil are good fro that.  If your in a rage go to walmart with a torn open streak bleeding all over and say to them - there eat your steak ands give me my money!

OH!  Most important tip of them all. Walmart cracks down on adresses faster than Instacart so jigg it and then when thats cooked, use your next door neighbors address while she is at work. You can change the addreess en route or just walk over and take them.

Also Walmart+ pick up groceries works as well saying everythings damaged or missing.  Fuck buy a bottle of Holy Water or a botle of @ffeffffefffand bad breath saying it leaked all over the dog rotten teeth falling out and it stinks.
If you to bring it back you know the drill. Fill the bleach bottle with Tears of the Clown @ffeffffefff so its whining drives everyone nuts. Once they see the video of @ffeffffefff crying over an employee he scolded while refunded frauding them $500 they will ban him from human interaction and give you the refund adn Medal Of Honor for standing up to mouth breathing rotten teeth Preachers.
And not Fadda fffmorefuckingffffsF wants to pray so he fills good about his sins! GTFOH

@ffeffffefff And I said, I said, I said God its ok im a criminal because I dont joke about putting bleach in a tide bottle. Right Mommy?

Why settle for a misdemeanor when you can ramp it up to a violent felony!

Ordering a dangerous chemical to harm the workers at the megacorporation you're defrauding because they suspect you of fraud, for what? $100 of groceries? What could go wrong?

No failure to date with this method :
Any GROCERIES
Limit tested : 300$

Buy any groceries you want, for a higher chance of success, pick veggies / fruits / food that are exposed, but it doesn't really matter.
ADD A BOTTLE OF VINEGAR (the glass ones - they like 3$)

Ask the driver to DROP OFF at your door.

Contact customer service IMMEDIATELY, tell them that the bottle broke and ruined all your groceries.

You'll get a instant credit to your account.
Request the credit to be reversed and you'd like a refund to original payment method.

That it's.
2 emails.

Instacart methods have been exploited for over 2 years.
I ordered $200 in groceries 3x a week to the same address for months
I ordered items that cost arourd $200 from Sephoria, BBB, Staples, BJ's, Best Buy and compolained and ALL FREE
One time I did Sephoria 3X in one day near Christmas.

Tried alcohol that tried acting touch I threatened chargeback and the bitch had the audacity to tell me not to do that without even offering to let me have the alcohol.
So I filed a chargeback got $200 in booze free and Instacart had to pay the $200 plus the bank chargeback fee that is $25-30 a dhargeback.
I love chargebacks. Won't give it to me free? Fine I'll get it free and you will pay a $30 fine.

You are no more superioir on here than anyone.
Most of us are here to exchange tips and strategies. What are you here for? To pretend your superioir than everyone and then go home and fuck your Asian bought wife missinary for youe usual 5 pumps then grunts. You have no sense of humor or sarcasm and just piss people off insteaad of relaxing knowing anything you want is free.
Well not for you bhecause you spend your days as the PC nerd on a forum on how to make money,

If you think I'm stupid enought to do that when I can instead slowly refund and syphen off100x more money from them. If they heeded the first rule of my refunding principles they have nothing to worry about: If your a bottom of the ladder cashier or bagger trying to be a hero to a company that doesnt care about you to save a few bucks and maybe get a 50 cent raise then yes now its on and your precious retail store will lose much more. Enough to make sure they have to cut jobs and the employees you have a hard on for lose their job.
Go take your morals and your old man yelling at anyone you want(including ones you never want to do that to like me) and go spend your days on the Disney forum.

Most of us here are trying to make money and survive. Fuck collateral damage. In my mind you are colateral damage if your lucky Selective Morals Fuck being a criminla and then telling another criminal whats right and wrong with a stuffy air about you someone needs to deflate. How bout I try those chemicals on you Mr. Morally Correct SuperLoser

@mothered should make and example out of your "selective morals"
Stealing and doing refund fraud and then berrate me after i just spent 2 weeks in the hospital with deep lacerations and cuts to my face a broken nose and 2 bacterial infections that almost cost me an eye. But I'd fight you right now broken nose last years broken back be damned. I'd win with uncontrollable rage and then you would taste those chemicals and let me know if all this was worth it.

Try me prick, just like everey Customer Service Rep has tried me and when I rarely lose I make sure to give them the worst feedback and make a complaint to corprate.

The onlky one on here who can yell and ban people is @mothered and from communicating with him on here he would do it with some respect unlike you making a post trashing me while im in the hospital. We'll see what I say about you when your in the hospital next.

Wallmart+ is curbside or delivery it doesnt matter which just check everything as missing damaged whatever. They ban addresses too though so curbside is my go to. Walmart hates me for fightinjg with them over a laptop refund for a month. Calling every corporate persioon, BBB complaint until I broke them.

Instacart is good but you gota hold the shoppers hand or you get 10 replacements. Same format damaged jiggged address but after probably close to 100 orders and a new CEO it tougher

Thats where neighbors that work all day(suckers) come in. I delivery there DoorDash too and other places.
Or put any address and once they checkout text them and say google autofill in put my neighbors address.
Possabilities are endless if you treaat it like a game where you have to win or everyone loses.

Do you mean the scales where we weigh the items before scanning them, or the ones where we put the items after scanning?

For example, in my country we have one on the left so we can weigh items that are sold without their own packaging, e.g. bread, fruit, etc., and then we have another one on the right so we can put the scanned items there so they can check if there's any discrepancy between the weight and the scanned item, etc.
