Hey all,

Recently ordered a pair of Oliver Peoples sunglasses; total price was $837 CAD. Was going to EB when they arrived at my house, but the people over at Sunglasses Hut decided (against my choosing) to ship it to my local store for me to pick up, instead of sending it to my home address like I chose in the checkout.

My question is this: would an EB not be possible anymore? Or does the same premise still hold true, regardless of delivery to my house or if Im picking them up from the store?

I assume because the glasses are so expensive they did this. I am also in Ontario and recently ordered $250 glasses which got delivered straight to my door.

Oddly enough, I called customer support and they said that pickup instore was selected at checkout; but I have the tracking number and whatnot with DHL. I actually changed the shipping location to a DHL store. Picked them up today, CS is closed for sunglass hut so I'm gonna call tomorrow and claim an EB. Hopefully this logistical mixup will work in my favour.

Given you're claiming the glasses were missing from the case, It doesn't matter whether It's collected or delivered.

Update: called CS and claimed the sunglasses were not in the case; immediately offered a refund as I claimed I was going on a trip tomorrow and needed sunglasses and bought new ones in person. Kind of makes me think I shouldve done a couple glasses instead of just the one. Glasses are absolute quality and class though.
