Hi y’all. Bit new to this. With Sunglass Hut EB, is there like a threshold in terms of value you should stay under? Like an amount it’s best to not to go over? Or can you max it out and EB a £900 pair?
Also, is it better to buy more than one pair when ordering and EB one of them?

I'm about to hit them for 725 dollars and have easily succeeded on a 210 dollar pair. Another user has almost finished an se for 800 pounds on another thread. They will likely require id and an investigation then they might ask for the box back if your trying to eb. If the courier doesn't deliver it to you directly and even if they do you can still say you weren't the one to receive it and dna it. Worst case chargeback or simply say you found the glasses and return them and try again.

I'm about to make the purchase and I should have mentioned the whole process could take over a month if they investigate and only offer replacement which is the most likely outcome for high order values. Hopefully we can get lucky with ftid though since that would be a lot faster.

I just succeeded with a $795 DNA with them, 2 pairs, fresh account, under a week from first contact to refund.

[/quote] Thanks. Just to clarify, did they ask you to return the EB, and if so, did you do so or say you had binned it or something?

I didn't have to return anything just was nice on the phone and filled out a form they sent to my email. Others have had to return the box it came in and some had to return the case and paperwork that came with the glasses.
