UPDATE:

spoke to amz rep. Told him haven’t received package despite UPS status said delivered with photo.
Rep told me to wait until tomorrow to see if the package arrives. (He obv. braindead)
However Carrier investigation has been initiated.
Told me to get back in touch with them tomorrow.
That’s what I’m gonna do.

That’s what I’m gonna do.

Good, they're not sure on the whereabouts of the package.

They may use GPS/tracking or photographic evidence to confirm the delivery. If so, we'll tackle It accordingly.

Contacted them again today.
Rep moved me to the next higher stage of employees.
Told me they need 3 more days to investigate.
I should come back on Wednesday.

Investigation of course concluded that I haven’t received the package. Therefore the refund was granted.

That's odd to me. UPS has never granted a package of mine being non-delivered even after taking no picture and having no signature. Good job.

UPDATE:

Got the notorious ofm Mail just right before they processed my refund.

It’s the policy warning email. Basically if these high refunds continue they may will stop me from buying from Amazon.

But here’s the deal:

I’m from Germany and 99.9% of my orders are made on Amazon.de
This refund however was made on Amazon.co.uk
Same goes for ofm mail. It’s from .co.uk

Does this mean this warning is only limited to orders on .co.uk?

I also had to chat with them over the .co.uk website since .de didn’t show this order at all

@mothered maybe you can answer that with your long-established knowledge

I think what has happened is that all your orders over the years from Amazon.de didn't count and amazon UK treats you as a new customer.

Go to your order page and click order details. Tell me if it says processed refund or refund complete in green writing. If not, you haven't received your refund.
