Okay so, I’ve hit this 5 times now. 2 for myself, 3 for partner and friends. 4 quick successes, 1 pending investigation with the same email others got.
It seems they’re investigating a fairly small % of claims. Obviously we are yet to see the outcome of said investigations.

Personally, if you get the investigation email I recommend just stating it’s turned up and return it, and try again with different account/guest

I've had the investigation myself, as this thread's OP, and it only took them 3 days to reply with a refund/replacement offer, so I'd suggest waiting it out a bit and see

I've hit it twice, I've just told my partner to do the same and also 2 close friends. An asshole? You don't think there's people that lurk in these forums and other much less organised forums and abuse every single method 10fold? There's no rules here, not regarding large companies like Meta anyway. I think you could argue we're all assholes, or none of us are. Calling me out directly for it is quite laughable. Grow up.

It's one of my first hits. Meta is one of the most toxic companies in the world. Greed or not, all I have done is share the method with my friends (also on this sub), how is that different than sharing with strangers on the sub? and also how is personally hitting it myself twice any different than double dipping? It sounds like you're being spiteful. You're just being unnecessarily rude. Leave it out.

Update: upon speaking to another rep - he mentioned the next step and asked if I would prefer a refund or replacement  and also did mention waiting 5 business days for the investigation to end. So perhaps some good news?

It's strange that he's approved the claim with a refund/replacement, however the Investigation Is still In progress.

Hey, did you have to change IP, device, name, address, payment info, etc for every try? Do you think they check for that stuff?

It's also strange that some people get almost instant refunds and others have to wait for an investigation. Maybe something we say is triggering it?
I just got an email saying there will be an investigation too (DNA method).
