I have never used pay pal to refund so i am just wondering are they helpful? as in i show them evidence of stock x’s useless help should they give me a refund? if you know what i mean

In answer to your question, given StockX's policy of not honouring refunds, you'd need to tell PayPal that you were totally unaware of It at the time of purchase. Of course, as you've mentioned, provide PayPal with evidence of their lack of customer support/service.
