Hey all, I'm looking to DNA Stock X for $400 shoes.. The shoes were delivered today via UPS who I have never refunded. My Stock x account has one refund from early this year with two sales in between throughout the year however I have also sold quite about on Stock x if this makes any difference.. The package was handed to another family member with no signature or photo.. I know from my previous experience I will be required to file an affidavit which I can complete digitally, but I believe it is just required to move forward with the claim? is it worth doing this and is UPS difficult to deal with as stated before I haven't dealt with them before.

*EDIT* After researching the Stock X help page, before submitting a case you must file the affidavit. below is the message on their help page.
"To begin the investigation, we require you to submit an affidavit, which is a legal document confirming you did not receive the item you ordered

The affidavit is indeed only needed to process further with the claim.

However, since its legally binding, I would not fill out the document and would take the L or use another method where the affidavit might not be needed.

They will probably speak to stockx, and they won't do anything until you do what stockx asked.

no - pp usually side with the seller if the tracking states delivered

PayPal tends to side with the seller based on tracking confirmation.

Sign the affidavit if you want to. I would not expect any problems to arise from this. Good luck mate.

I personally dont understand why people refund things then keep the items.
If you're selling it, then absolutely sign the affidavit.
If not, bear in mind that $400 pair of shoes won't justify the cost of a police search and seizure, so you will likely be alright.
