Since your original package appears to be lost or stolen, we will need you to provide us with another address that will enable the carrier to perform a more secure delivery.

If you’re unable to provide a secure address, we recommend contacting the carrier to identify secure carrier locations where your package can be delivered and held for pickup. Note: Options may vary depending on the carrier and your location.

Without a secure address, we will need to issue a refund for your purchase instead of sending a replacement.

Please respond once you’ve identified a more secure address.

since i'm on good terms with my neighboor i will just change the address to his and then proceed to switch the decks and ask for a refund

why would you not just ask for the refund initially? rather than go through the hassle of the replacement and then returning it?

By browsing this forum, i saw that the warranty for a lost deck was void, and that there was a risk of steam "branding" the lost deck as stolen thus banning the account that would log on it.
I think it's safer to do this but i don't know if someone already did it

After much thinking (less than an hour...) and the fear of steam actually checking the serial code, i think i will ask the support to refund me and cancel my delivery
I will keep you updated.

Yeah they just accepted to cancel my delivery and then sent me the receipt for the refund.
Should get refunded in the coming days.
For the people attempting to do this I used an old accout that was 11 years old with some paid games and 2 VAC bans and there was no problem
