Support contacted me today and shipped out a new deck! I was gonna ask for a refund instead but I did not wanna fuck up the SE considering that it seemed like they just wanted to send me a replacement.

Do you think I could turn on the 1st deck already or wait to return the 2nd steam deck first before turning it on or it should be okay?

Did you have to send them pictures?

nope didn't even asked me for some

Aged. I wouldn't recommend doing it with a fresh account

The package was sealed and there was no Steam Deck in the black case.

I've had no issues playing on the SD I got with my main account. Was a bit nervous as well originally, but thought fuck it and just gave it a go. Been 3/4months now with nothing happening

Valve only doesn't give a warranty for those Steam Deck, nothing else would happen. Just say that you got it as a gift and don't give a warranty doc or something.

Also, my friend and I been not successful with SE the Steam Deck the second time on other aged accounts. They just said that they do the investigation and just ignored it. I have done a chargeback now, and will see if they respond or not to it.

Manufacturer Empty Box, in this case you claim you did recieve the black box the steam deck comes in, but the steam deck wasn't inside.
