I don't drink coffeee, much less from Starbucks. But, I thought this article was neat. Never knew about the unlisted items. Know of any other places with a similar "secret menu"?

In N' Out in the Bay Area has some secret items. There's animal style, carmelized onions. And there's protein style where the bun is replaced with lettuce. Also there's 3x3 and 4x4, which just means extra patties, ex. 3x3 has 3 patties.

Animal Fries and a Protein Burger are the few things that come to mind.

Some local places even make Carne Asada fries on request.

Never been there. Apparently Taco Bell has some secret items too.

Most fast food places have "secret menus". I guess they aren't really secret anymore, hehe. I know that Burger King has frings and the suicide burger.

McDonald's McGangBang, anybody?

Since I work at Wendy's, I can tell you what stuff (at least my restaurant in Canada) has on the "secret menu".

• Extra-Large Frosty: Most people don't know that Frosties are the only drink we have with an extra-large size. It goes in the medium soft drink cup (30oz).

• Grand Slam: A sandwich mod. If you say "I'll get a #1 Grand Slam with ...", it will upgrade to the version with the most patties (in this case, a triple), and then add patties until it has 4.

• T-Rex: Same as above, but six patties.

• Fully-Loaded Potato: A potato with chili, melted cheese, broccoli and bacon on it.

If I think of more, I'll post them

I've actually got a question for you, since you work at Wendy's. Is it true that the chili is made up of old meat from the patties of burgers that didn't sell the day before? I've heard this rumor with my friends and I never really was sure.

The chili is made from patties that were cooked that day that were a little overcooked. We then mix it up with the rest of the chili stuff and put it in the fridge overnight at 35°F. We start cooking it slowly at 7am the next morning and it's ready to go by 10am for opening. So yeah, the meat is "old", but to be honest there's not really anything wrong with it.

I'd say the thing to worry about is that we never actually freeze the patties, but they can last in a fridge for 2 weeks at 35°F without going bad..

All In N' Outs have this "secret menu", its not so secret tbh. I went with my mom once and she wanted protein style, so she described it, and the guys like "Oh, you want it protein style". I love their animal fries so much!
