Had a bit of a stir with SE'ing at the end of the year there with trying to claim a DNA from Currys, let's just say it resulted in DPD hounding my phone 40 times a day looking for info and the driver who "Delivered" it even coming to my door at 10 pm after his shift will all this evidence that it was delivered and threatening to call the police right now because his job was on the line Sooooo clear to say I defiantly shit myself just a little and withdrew the claim with some bogus response of awww someone took it in and didn't tell me just to get them off my back.

Anywaysssssssss Don't want to give up after the scare so looking for some small SE's to get back into it people recommend foreign Amazon stores? like Spain or Germany for quick SE's does anyone have any experience ordering from these types of stores from the UK?

If so any advice would be much-appreaitated hahaha.

Regards, - A very scared Akoz.  Confused
This es excatly what happened to me some months ago I felt the same way you did haha

Ye man defiantly not a nice feeling haha, Im sure ill get back into it eventually just stick small you know haha
thats precisely how im feeling rn. It happened the same way with my DNA Amazon SE. Driver only took a photo of the parcel and a few days after the claim stood infront of the door asking where the parcel gone... Felt bad for him so I cancelled the SE otherwise he would have had to pay 500€ for the item..

It's basically harassment, and you have every right to call the police.

They had no right to keep hounding you with 40+ calls a day.

It's hard to believe they'd make the deliveryman pay the price of the item, if it doesn't make it to the recipient. There's plenty of package bandits, so it would be hard to enforce.

I actually know someone who works at DPD. Yes, they're ruthless but they had nothing to go on and had no proof that you had it. For reference, I asked my friend about this and they're told by DPD to go back to find out what happened but they won't lose their job over it (there have been cases of DPD staff/drivers caught for theft and sacked/prosecuted), and the driver will not have to pay for the lost item (it's covered by DPD's insurance).

I would've blocked their number if they kept spamming me, and maybe gone via cc dispute.

It's a form of harassment, that can be taken further by contacting the police.

They have no right to continue flooding you with calls, and Indirectly accusing you of wrongdoing.

Ye ignoring the calls or blocking the number was the easiest thing, It was coming to my house that was the issue haha
