Welcome to Sinister Scum

Signups are closed!

The Story:

You are a member of an underground society of hackers, thieves, and other internet baddies. You have just found out that members of a paramilitary organization have been contracted to take you ALL out. You have no idea who they are, or why they are targeting you, but you must beat them. You have all met up in an old abandoned warehouse, with no weapons of any kind, some food, and bare minimum bedding. You have locked the doors, and set them to open only when all members of the paramilitary organization are dead. You must find them, and kill them, before they kill you.

How to Play:

The game goes on a day/night cycle, that happens in real-time. Day/night will be run on GMT. Day lasts from the hours 6:00 AM - 9:00 PM, and night from 9:01PM - 5:59AM. Check your regional equivalent.
US West - GMT -6
US Central - GMT -5
US East - GMT -4
Western European - GMT +1
Central European - GMT +2
Easter European - GMT +3

If your time zone is not on the list, Google it!

Once the game starts, I will PM all players with their "role", and any additional rules that may apply to them. During each day phase, everyone will vote on one player to lynch, that player will die and I will reveal that player's role at the end of the day. During the night cycle, several players (but not all) will pm me with their "actions" actions may do various things depending on your role. You can choose to save, investigate, or even kill a player. At the start of the next day, I will reveal any players killed at night, but NOT their roles. The game will continue until:
1 - All paramilitary are dead (society victory)
2 - Equal number of society and paramilitary (society can not lynch fast enough to be victorious, paramilitary victory)
3 - Possible 3rd outcome, depending on if we have enough players to start with.

How to Join:
Just post below, saying you would like to play. If you sign up, you are expected to actively participate in the game (voting to lynch, doing actions during your night cycle)

This thread is only to get people to sign up, once the game begins, I will create a new thread, with a list of all the players involved.

I will be using a random generator to assign roles, if you would like to read more on this type of game, take a look here:
