Shein question 11-04-2022, 12:05 PM
#1
Hello everyone,
I am trying to hit Shein for a good amount of products (20+) around 300euros, so a pretty big package. Now I'm having the following issues:
1. I am living in a small town and the courier (DPD) knows me (by name) and I would like not to have him around my house asking questions because that happened before and didn't end up well. Therefore, an external investigation should not happen or maybe I'm thinking about new account with fake name/address.
2. When doing my research I found out the following (I live in EU) :
https://ibb.co/NCb53y3 ; should I split the products in 2 orders of 150euros each?
How do you guys view this matter? Thanks for your support!

Can you have the consignment delivered to another address using different credentials?

You're covered for loss of goods.
Will they be delivered In separate packages?

Yes, I will definitely not use my credentials. This way if an external case will open I won't have to worry about the courier coming to my house as most probably I will use DNA.

I asked some people and they SE'ed Shein for more than 300 euros in one package so I'm thinking it's not necessary to split the order in separate packages. What's your opinion on this?

Those who've experienced 300+ Euro orders In a single package, pretty much confirms It.
Even If they split It Into 2 packages, as long as they arrive at the same timeslot, you can still DNA It.

Update: order value was around 300euro, 1 big package, DNA worked smoothly, refunded me in like 2weeks.

Yes, they did. Most probably it was an internal investigation due to the fact that no one from the shipment company contacted me.

At times, the company & carrier liaise between themselves during an Investigation, so It's possible that an external Investigation also took place.
Whatever the case may be, your SE succeeded and that's all that counts.
Congrats again.
