Selling products with serial number #1
Hey,
I want to sell my Airpods Pro gen2, which i have just SE'd. Since the AirPods have a Serial Number, can I just sell them normally? is there any risk involved? if so, how do I go about minimizing that risk?
Thanks in advance!

Were they purchased using your real credentials?

Then If the buyer decides to put In a warranty claim, they'll see that the Item Is supposed to be non-existent, hence they can track the original purchase to you by Its serial number.

Thanks for your reply.
How big is the risk of the buyer deciding to put in a warranty claim? Would you take the risk and sell the item or just keep it? Is it possible to remove the SN?

informed about the legal guarantee and the distinctions between the seller guarantee and the parent company.
From what I understand the seller is compromised while the parent company can still carry out.
I would tell you from the SN without problems and preserved so when the seller warranty expires in legal terms you could also make a SN at the parent company by making a x2.
you sell and do not specify the seller, so it will never, under any circumstances, make you do a rebill.
If you necessarily want the seller or the receipt you could do a Fake.
It will be difficult for them to claim something or at most say that it is a gift and that you have no possibility of recovering a proof of purchase.

Thank you for your reply, but I'm having problems understanding your comment. I'm sorry, English isn't my first language.

Very slim, but the possibility exists.

As said, It's unlikely the buyer will put In a warranty claim but It can happen. Ultimately It's your call.

That's why fake credentials should be used when Intending to buy & sell.

Yes you can, however If a warranty claim will be made, you're likely to be contacted by the buyer.

What if I use a payment method without my credentials? Couldn't I just buy a PayPal account to get the money from the buyer and use the money to buy Amazon gift cards?
Thanks again, you have been helping me to get into SE, without your help this wouldn't have been possible.

If you disassociate your real Identity with the purchase and sale, you're good to go.
