Personally, for my passwords I just use "#", then a capital letter. A word, then numbers.

If you wan't to continue using W10, I can agree with that.
First, you want to get an AV. Kasperasky, also get MB (Malwarebytes), and Hitman Pro, [don't get all of those if your computer is shit]

i quit using w101, i use w7 which probably isnt even better.
but i dont do much illegal shit anymore

Windows 7 isn't updated as frequently.

Try using Antergos.

I would agree that going over to another os then windows 10 is preferable, but it is not really viable since Windows is so established in the gaming scene.

Do some research into OPSec if you want to be extremely safe, it all depends on what you're actually trying to do and what the consequences for getting caught are.
