This is pretty awesome! It looks so much cleaner than anything I've ever done in Photoshop! And I can never work quickly either xD
The colour palette is very different from what I would have used... but it works pretty well!

Same here, I would of gone with a black/grey/white combination giving it a polar bearish feel.
Although the colors used in the OPs design worked lovely.

I was thinking along those lines too. Or more "dirty" colours like murky browns. The OPs colours remind me of some of the colours from zombie games.
