Not yet but I am in the preparation stage, in fact what i am going to do soon is a test run with a legit return in store to see how they handle it. I am just in the process of building up the capital for said purchase, shouldn't be long now.
Very interesting. Best of luck to you. Hopefully it turns out well

Let us know how it goes please

I'm going to attempt to SE an iPhone 14 Pro max using the sealed box method.
My question is can I fill the box with anything as long as it doesn't make sound and matches the weight? And if they do open the box for some reason how can I return it? Am I stuck with it in that case?
My final question is can it blow back on me in the future? E.g.
Someone buys it 6 months down the line and I'm getting rebilled and reported?
Hardest thing would probably be making. Sealed box how are you going to recreate the plastic wrap around the iPhone and the paper tag or what ever it’s called that you need to remove in order to open the box
If that's it then I'm not too worried. Should be fine

Be sure It's a decent product of equal weight.
As such, If It's opened, the return can be justified.

It's not an Issue whatsoever.
It can be returned for a legit refund by saying you were In a rush, and mistakenly packed the Incorrect Item In the box. As to why It was resealed to perfection, you were concerned that an open/damaged box would void the refund, hence returned It In Its original state.

No.
Who's to say the next buyer Isn't a social engineer claiming he received an Incorrect product?

They check sealed box returns, namely In-store.
Thank you the in depth response this has helped me a ton! It's always nice to get a second opinion especially from someone as experienced as yourself.
Can you say what kind of tools you are using to reseal the plastic and did you buy the paper tag from China?

Heat and something else I don't have a word for
Nothing special at all. They do not deliver to me though so I may have to cancel

It's my absolute pleasure to be of help.
I'm a little stuck on what I should replace it with.
If I replace it with a fake phone surely they will 100% know what I'm trying to do.

The reason for a like-for-like product as the replacement, Is that there still Is a chance It will not be Identified when the box Is opened.
It does happen when they're under the pump with an Influx of returns.

I have found a 100 usd smartphone that looks similar but definitely doesn't look like an iPhone if they pay attention only the camera matches but no apple logo of course. It also weighs 5 grams less than an iPhone 14 so I shouldn't need to add anything?
I just need to hope argos doesn't check this return
I don't think I'm missing anything here right?

I don't know of any shipping scale that's Incremented to detect a 5 gram variance.
You've covered everything, so the rest Is In the hands of Argos. You're hitting their online store, yes?

Yes I'm ordering and returning online. Driver will deliver it and pick it back up a few days later?

I'll definitely consider it then Do you have any experience with argos at all?
Why not use a vcc

I did a few with Argos… they 100% open returns in store no matter what I’ve returned 6/7 packages different stores always opened.. online how ever they don’t give a shit for example I’ve returned a steriliser instead of the hoover I was meant to return and they refund you… there idiots haha the drivers don’t care/ don’t check anything
