It's been around 12 years since I've last reverse engineered, hence I've forgotten the names of a few tools. I'll check my external HDD and see exactly what I have. On request, I can upload and share.
if the software aren't around on the internet anymore you might want to create a thread for the softwares you have which are really difficult to find online, but yeah, uploading and sharing the softwares can help not only me but others xd

Thank you for taking your time to help me though, i really appreciate it mate Biggrin Smile  Smile

You're very welcome.

My tools date back to early 2000 and possibly the late 90s, so a few may be somewhat difficult to find. I'll clean the dust off my 80 GB external Maxtor HDD (that I purchased for 500$ 15 years ago), and locate the tools.
fucking hell lmao, i wasn't even born yet lmao, btw, i don't really care about compatibility issues, i got vms and a kid laptop toy running windows ce 6.0 lmfao, so i should be good i guess xd, but again, thanks Smile Smile xD

Yes, I've been In the scene for many years- back In the early 90s when the good old 16-bit "Windows 3.1" was peaking, and having the displeasure of Installing Microsoft Office 95 using 25 Floppy disks.

And prior to that, communicating via the ARPANET.

that is as funny as interesting in now days, because i've never experienced that, im just used to online downloads & cd/dvd-rom disk to install apps, but i've never used or even touched a floppy disk. and i don't even know about "the ARPANET", the oldest thing i know is Netscape, but i don't really know about the history of the internet, so yeah. But that is interesting to have someone that has been active in the computer scene back when the internet wasn't really known.

I also remember Netscape quite clearly, and was using It as my main form of browsing.

A lot has certainly changed over a 30 year period. I recall running "2 MB" (yes "MB") of Ram and a 500 MB HDD, but It performed well for the technology and expectations at the time.

i never used windows 3.1, im familiar with 95&98, but thats interesting, and i know that technology advanced even when i was born, computers were sold at 2000/3000€ with celeron cpus, now we can have a computer for 1000/1500€ and can run tripple A games in max settings, and cpus have been faster due to the improvement of the architechtures inside them

Windows 3.1 was just prior to Windows 95.

I have the OS on my external. I've converted It to a bootable ISO file that's "8 MB" In capacity.

yeah

I've performed a quick Google search and much to my surprise, there are a few sources available as an ISO download.

Some however, are In a .IMG (floppy disk) format. If you haven't used the OS, Install It In a VM. It'll be a good experience for you.
