svchost is a genuine system process but have heard instances of where viruses hide behind it

I've come across this a few times over the years.

A lot of viruses are renamed to scvhost, as opposed to the legit process of svchost. As such, It can be easily overlooked, which Is the objective of renaming It.

I scanned this on jotti.com and found a lot of trojans and a password stealer virus not sure if its safe.

Although online virus scanners are not a conclusive form of analysis, the nature of the detections Is certainly a cause for concern. As such and for the safety of our community, I've removed the link.
