Tell them you managed to retrieve the laptop after contacting the waste disposal department, however the carrier said they're refusing to transport hazardous goods.

Did they request to file a PR?
Yes, they requested a PR, as for the disposal of the faulty item I will tell them that and keep you updated.
Edit: I would just like to say thank you for all your help despite of the SE outcome, you have been very supportive and educative and I hopefully try my best to contribute back to the community.
Update: They remain adamant after me saying the carrier doesn't accept dangerous goods
they said :
Please, return the "laptop model" that you ordered for a refund within 30 days from the date you received them. You can return your package by mail with the return label that you will find in the Returns Center
In most cases, once the return package has been received by the shipping company, it may take up to two weeks for it to be received and processed. Please note that international returns may take longer.
We can't do anything until we receive the return.
We hope to see you again soon on Amazon.
I will avoid the disposal of the faulty item laptop since it's an actual credit card, I may try to contact the manufacturer instead since they do not have a way to take the refund money back, I will also do the PR tomorrow for the DNA item, what are my chances?
