SE help for Amazon needed 04-30-2017, 03:25 PM

I am about to order GTX 1060 STIX OC 6GB which costs around 290£( This item also costs 290$ on their .com site)
Since I live in Denmark I have to sign the package when it arrives. If I won't answer the door the carrier will take it to the post office even though you told the carrier to leave it at your doorstep or backyard etc. I still have to sign it if I go to the post office and pick it up. I've never tried to SE before but I have read a lot about it and II'm not an idiot.
I want to use the "Never received my item method" but it will be pretty hard to pull off without the delivery guy coming to my house. (Or will I be able to dodge this if I pick it up 3-4 days later at the post office?)
Is there any way this can be done? I don't want to get in trouble with the police or want the delivery guy to come knock down my door.
I'm not afraid of Amazon reps since I'll most likely be able to talk my way out of it, but I'm afraid of the legal terms with blaming the carrier, delivery guy etc.
I hope someone can help or give me some tips.
NOTE: My Amazon account is over a year old but with no purchases or orders.
Thank you for reading and eventually helping me.
Have a nice day.
