Just minutes ago i got an email from SteeSeries support.
"We are moving your case forward. Between the next 1-2 business days a promotional code for the value of the product will be provided to fulfill your RMA."

I asked them friday about an update on the status of the RMA, and I got no response. This opened a HUGE window for me. Bitching and complaining isn't always the friendliest way, but it gets the job done.
They are only responsive on business days, so saturday, I had complained that I had not heard from them for 4 days. I told others I would give them until the end of today, and I would contact them tomorrow if I had not heard from them. Well, im getting my coupon code tomorrow or the day after ill be getting the Siberia 350 white Prisms. im hyped as shit

yup, for years. i used a 2 year old leaked method and it still worked.

Surprising you got SteelSeries after all the trouble they had with SEing before, nicely done though, of course.

It wasn't hard. Just play it off as if you're a normal customer in need of support, not following a script like a robot

I personally find once a method is "dead" wait a year or two and do exactly as Corgi said above play it off like you are in actual help. Play it off as you actually purchased said item and imagine how furious you actually would be. You kinda have to play the role when it comes to SEing.
