I am hesitant with Amazon since someone mentioned that they check for back panel swaps specifically.

I wonder, how exactly do they check for a swapped back panel?
I don't remember were but I read that amazon does a 20-point inspection on all returns, maybe it would make it past but Iv read that computers that have had the parts swapped/removed get caught.
I don't think other stores do similar inspections.
2 years ago you could just take out the GPU or CPU (or both), return the computer and get refund. This information you share now about them checking the computer when returned, do you know this for a fact I mean you tested it yourself, or just heard/read about it?
