General Audio thread. - Post wins, strats, questions, drop your progress updates here.

I'm personally looking for a number of stores to hit for speakers and wired earbuds (I burn through these like an mf between distance running, bouldering and bagwork, literally going broke buying new pairs)

I've heard bigger names like HP were good to hit. I'm UK based. Any advice is appreciated. If I find a store/method I'm happy with I'll keep the thread posted but I'm rather new to the game.

JBL and Bose was pretty easy with Ftid
I tried car speakers but..most of them offer repair, not replacement... Did only SN method

EU - Tried to SN Sony RMA for headphones. They wouldn't budge on sending me a label. Quite dissapointed by their service overall.

There's this company 'Flare'. I don't know much about them, they're UK based. I do know they are spending big money on advertising. They have a very cheap product which they sell way overpriced. Silicon earplugs targeted at people with ASS or ADHD. Cool they offer the product, but way overpriced. Maybe they are juicy enough to not care about refunds.

Speakers in this case have some weight.. so depends on couriers...JBL will just open standard investigation with them and it should work.

For Bose I went for QuietComfort Headphones and for JBL I went for Charge 5 both wit LIT and I did SN method

Respect. I'd imagine you got the SN off marketplace. I've been struggling trying to figure out ftid - did you do the dry ice method? Junk mail in a nearby location method? My understanding is you slightly modify the label and address in something like adobe afterreader and then get it delivered nearby.
I'm making a move on Flare fellas, will keep everyone posted.

What does SN mean? Is there a dictionary of abbreviations on the forum? I know some of them, but not all
