SE Apple Watch - Amazon - Missing Item Method

Hello guys,

After a few successful SE on different websites, I wanted to do it again on Amazon for an Apple Watch.
Since it's very light I went for the "Manufacturer Error" scenario.

Last time I did this on another account it went through directly but this time I got the :
"Please do not worry because I have now escalated this issue to our relevant team"
"Our team will now investigate this matter further."
"Our team will now get back to you with resolution via email within next 24-48 working hours."

Should I be worried or just wait for the resolution email ? Since it's just a normal procedure for something worth 400 bucks.

Well, they just asked me to fill a PR, but isn't it dumb since I said everything was fully enclosed ? and the item was missing from the box ?

Apple products are so over-stolen that a PR will ALWAYS be required nowadays

Go ahead and fill it, or your SE will fail

Well they refuse the PR, but I think they just misunderstood me. And thought I didn't receive anything, not that item was missing rm the box...
I'm trying to explain this to a new Rep.

Well the rep just stopped replying.... Never had such issues before. What would you guys think I should do ? Just say I found it, and my family pranked and sent it back ? Or push with a new PR ?

any advices @mothered ?

What was their exact response?

For now they said that considering the informations given, the package has been delivered to the right address. Which was always the case since I said that everything arrived and nothing was tampered, etc... Classic Missing item scenario.

I tried to explain the possible misunderstanding to another rep but after a few messages, he stopped replying and every time I went back on chat it was the same one connecting and not replying....

They asked me to file a new PR. But I already had a hard time getting that one since there were no since of theft since everything was packed correctly.

I'm going to try to get a new PR, but yeah something that was supposed to be easy as hell, definitely went sideways haha.

Literally same scenario here with 2 lightweight items. Got hit with a PR for both (quite popular items) and reps just keep replying with same text. I think there really is no way to get past the PR with these popular items nowadays
