Sitting back waiting for a reply means they're In control. You need to reverse the role so please chase them up, be assertive and adamant with your request.

What type of lamp are you referring to (example, lava lamp)? Or Is It anything In general?

LED Lamp, I have just been chasing them up and sending emails, as I prefer emails to calls.
