How much is the lamp and what is the rough dimensions. Also are you looking to do a proper SE or a refund?

Don't give up hope, you could also try calling. I find calling to have a higher and faster success rate. If you don't want to/can't call for whatever reason. Keep emailing and check you have the right email.

For S/N's a method I like to use is whenever I happen to be in town I normally take a few pictures of S/B's on products. Quite easy and effective.

If its something you can find in store you can maybe get lucky and find one and grab its serial, then wait a few days so its definitely been purchased. Shoot me a PM with some of the brands who reply and I will try my best to find you a serial.

Best of luck!

Did you follow-up your request? If not, you must be adamant and persistent until you receive a response.

What method did you use?

Was using Amazon receipt, and saying the lamp was faulty, could not send it back etc.

Seems appropriate.

Did you chase up their lack of response?

Sitting back waiting for a reply means they're In control. You need to reverse the role so please chase them up, be assertive and adamant with your request.

What type of lamp are you referring to (example, lava lamp)? Or Is It anything In general?
