Judging by the following statement, It seems like It's a step In the right direction.

Quote:"According to the results, the vaccine has shown high efficiency and safety. All volunteers developed high [tiers] of antibodies to Covid-19, while none of them showed serious complications of immunization," Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko said.

I've been reading some mixed reports, both fors and againsts, so hopefully the former outweighs the latter and the vaccine comes Into effect.

Unfortunately, lockdowns and quarantine measures are keeping the virus under control and nothing more. The moment restrictions are lifted, It's back to square one.

Only a vaccine will put an end to It.
