Replacing phone with cracked screen #1
Have a phone that I recently (1 month) SEd with successfully using Amazon (S22U). Sadly these newer phones are getting more and more fragile and there's a small crack due to a minor drop.
What's the best way to "fix it" it replace it with a new phone.
Truly sad

Try to change to change the screen. I have watched a couple of youtube tutorials and it doesn't look to hard

Stating the obvious, are there cell phone repair stores In your locality?

It'll cost a fraction of what the phone Is worth.

It's quite expensive (~450aud) however it's just the glass so I might get away with replacing that for around 200 aud.
I was thinking to trade it in at a later point and either box/Ftid it with the asurion trade in and get a s23 ultra. This seems more smart as it would cost around the same to upgrade when trading in as samsung always has bonuses and free products also included when buying around release (atleast in aus)

Another thing with just replacing the glass is that it's harder with newer phones as the glue for the digitiser and glass is very strong so a lot of times it ends up in failure.

$450 Aussie dollars for a simple repair?

I've never heard nor experienced such a rip off.

That's approx price in most repair shops and even samsung. I'd be ecstatic if you could show otherwise.
It's mostly due to these phones getting more and more complex and me having a flagship doesn't help
