Why are you contacting Amazon with a fake receipt?

The whole "fake POP" method is that you're contacting the manufacturer (apple) saying you purchased it off Amazon and they can't (most of the time, or won't) verify if it's a real order ID and trust you because the receipt looks real.

Yes, however Apple is very tricky to SE if you're not experienced.  I attempted recently to SE Apple and was told to return to Amazon which I bypassed. They usually won't ask for the POP. I had a very good supervisor who I felt would skip protocol and give me a replacement but my line dropped (big rip) and I recalled, transferred to a supervisor who I know was not gonna budge as he was not at all understanding.

Your only go with Apple is a good rep or boxing (if sending back) which may not work if Apple does not take liability.
