Like with any game you just need to play more. Updating your keybinds is also a good idea. If you're comfortable, you'll get better.

I read a lot of Steam reviews on CS:GO, and now that it's a free game, Valve abandoned it. All of the players are either Russian kids, or hackers.

FaceIT is really popular now, has 128tick and a lot less cheaters. But MM itself is trash, I do agree. It's the reason why I boycotted that game a year ago

I would just try to not play cs go if you don't want to run into cheaters.

My highest rank achieved was Supreme. I just can give you these tips after playing 2000hrs. :

• ALWAYS buy flashbangs/smokes and USE them every round! It's a waste to die with bought grenades, also flashbang = free easy kills. People in Master Guardian don't even tend to use flashbangs and smokes.
• Watch how you master the recoil of the AK and M4. You can easily learn this in a hour just practicing the spray.
• Don't overextend. You've got plenty of time, just take your time and wait for the enemies to get unpatient and rush.

There are plenty more tips ..... but as they say practice makes perfect.
