Remove time limit on deleting threads

Suggesting the ability to delete any thread you have made without needing to bother a mod for a variety of reasons.
Maybe this is an upgraded feature. Preferably for user-groups that include Platinum because that's my group and this is my suggestion Wink

I believe this may have already been suggested a while back.

I'm actually In support of this. Either remove the duration, or set It to a reasonable limit.

Yeah, I read a similar suggestion. It also was talking about posts in general, rather than just threads. The solution was to raise the time limit, but I'm in favor of no time limit for your own threads for everybody, or for a perk for a certain upgrade.

Yeah, I read a similar suggestion. It also was talking about posts in general, rather than just threads. The solution was to raise the time limit, but I'm in favor of no time limit for your own threads for everybody, or for a perk for a certain upgrade.

In my view, to avoid the deletion of threads being abused by each and every member who has the power to do so, I believe the feature should be limited to upgraded members of a higher rank- Platinum & Diamond.

This will also serve as an Incentive for members to achieve those ranks.

I am in support of this too. I remember trying to delete a thread and even report it to be deleted but it never was. I understand there's only one active staff on the site but that's even more reason to allow this

@Oni Any thoughts here? I think it would be a great addition at hopefully a painless implementation cost.

I do receive a number of requests via PM to delete the sender's thread.

It's a simple task but when combined with other duties on this board, It just adds to the workload.
