TL;DR: I appreciate everyone's patience. Hackcommunity has been re-merged.

So, needless to say, it's been a very difficult month for all of us - especially me. I've been very busy with my personal life, as well as ensuring the security and safety of Sinisterly. Nobody could have predicted Europol would shut us down, much less on temporary hosting. After waiting weeks and weeks, it was obvious we weren't getting a backup from them, and I didn't want to spend the money on a legal representative. The only option was to use the backup I had, prior to the Hackcommunity merge.

Despite the hardship we've faced, we're in a much better position now. We have almost just as many active members as we did before, and we don't face the risk of "dying" anymore. I'm glad you guys are still around and I plan on making things even better. I've already merged the Hackcommunity database again (as mentioned in the Remix announcement) and will be awarding compensation manually. Note that some posts are still being sorted by staff (in a hidden section).

You're all entitled to some form of compensation. However, I will be manually awarding it, and on a case-by-case basis. If you had upgrades or contributed a lot to Hackcommunity, you should contact me immediately. There will be awards available in the near future. You should also message me if you have issues finding your account or you notice that you have duplicate accounts. You are entitled to my help, as it is my job. Don't be shy.

You guys have been very tolerant of all the stuff that's gone on recently. I really appreciate it. Many other forums would have crumbled, had they experienced the same troubles. Therefore, I ask for you to bear with me just a bit more. We're not done yet. A lot of you are missing awards, groups, etc... It is your job to message me and get them back. You should also message me if you notice any bugs or issues around the site. There are a couple. You are entitled to my help, as it is my job. Don't be shy.

If it's a serious issue to anyone, I'd be open to talking about it. However, I am unlikely to give you any SP unless it's reasonable.

I knew we'd be back. Even with everyone bitching and accusing you (@Oni) of being incompetent I stayed sure (with one admitted moment of weakness) that SL would regain activity and be back to being the great forum it was. I do think you need to stick around a bit more though Oni, just to get rid of the cancer that has started seeping through the cracks. Perhaps time to choose another staff member?

Before SHTF, we were supposed to have a full powered staff team. I'm waiting to see who will be around to help. I am still trying to figure out who is missing and who isn't.
