RE: Regarding wanting to refund a laptop... #41
UPDATE: So these motherf*ckers were poking a$$ to issue my refund, asked why it was taking long and they said something about refunds being done by a third party so I finally got fed up and asked for my replacement. They gladly complied. I should be getting it in the next hour or two. Question now is, if they drop it off yet again without sig should/could I possibly get another replacement?

And I should be able to return it for my moola, correct?

Patience is key with SEing any company , if you don’t have patience you are basically on the path of failing the SE. I would’ve have suggested to wait a couple more days for the refund to come. Also don’t be too greedy about tryna DNA your second parcel . 9 times out of 10 it probably will not work. Also yes you can return it for a refund.

I waited 3 weeks and no cash refund, therefore I requested my replacement. And yea the carrier once again left it unsigned. Also, good to know that I'll be able to return it for my money.

So def dont try for a third time?

Are you referring to double dipping, or triple dipping?

@mothered Hmmmm not sure. Bought laptop, claimed DNA, waited 3 weeks on refund, but it never came. (I would call once a week after the 3-5 days to complain tho.) Finally got "mad" enough and just asked for my replacement. Replacement got delivered today, without a sig once again.

So not sure if this would be double or triple dipping. But I would like to return one of them for my cash, be it this one #2 or the next one #3 (if you think it'll succeed) and just keep the original one #1.

If you're Intending to SE the replacement, It's double dipping- SEing twice In succession pertaining to the same order and same company.

Given It wasn't signed for, the DNA Is certainly well-suited but because you've already claimed It In close timing, It may raise suspicion. In other words, the probability of the package not delivered to Its destination twice In a row, Is highly unlikely.

Gotcha, rather not get my acct flagged. So use #2 for awhile then return for my refund or just return straight away?

When is it safe to turn laptop #1 on? Now or after I return #2 and get my money? Assuming I should be able to as #1 got lost and has nothing to do with me anymore...

@Rednaxela1 Around 1500 USD

SE the second Item within their return/refund policy, but to avoid raising suspicion, It's good practice to use a method that's different to the first- In this case, not the DNA twice In a row.

As said, It's not likely that the package will not reach Its destination twice In succession.

Once your claim has been finalized (funds cleared Into your account, replacements Issued etc), do as you please with the laptop.
