If it is possible could you please explain why would I have to do? I would like to understand.
I've written a guide In my blog under the exact title of "Wrong Item Received Method".
I read that, but there isn't written why do I have to send the cheap item back with its original package. Anyway, I think I got it why.

The other thing to be aware of is that some companies use their own identifiers (as well as the standard barcodes).

For example, Argos usually adds a sticker in this format: 243/002. So if you're gonna buy an item somewhere else, just make sure you know the code and add it (to the wrong item).

Good point.

However, the problem Is If they scan the box, they'll Identify that It's not part of their Inventory.

Do you swap the number stickers on the items? Take the item ID number off the expensive item and put it on the cheap item and send it back? Would it be foolish to remove the stickers and just send the item back? They can still identify the issue if you state wrong item on the returns form, they would just manually put the item in their inventory i'm guessing..

Then the ID will not match the description of the cheap Item.

If they enter It In their Inventory by Item description and do not check their stock on hand and whether It was Invoiced, then yes, It will work.
