It just goes to show the number of social engineers using the serial number method.

It does indeed.

You've made an excellent point here:

only use serial numbers from very very recent eBay ads so you minimize the chances of them having already been used for SE

The same approach applies when using YouTube to get serials - always check when the video was uploaded.

how do I get a serial number from a yt video?

Enter your Item description, followed by "unboxing".

I'll add some of my recents to the pool:

Ray-Ban's direct - 2 items, $350~, DNA
Amazon - Apple product, DNA
Lululemon - 2 items, DNA
Apple - 3 items, DNA
Farfetch - pending

Have Wayfair and Saks coming in the next week or two, will update then on those, but have had 5+ successful hits with both in the past.

Im very intrested on the outcome of farfetch and saks. What was the price and item amount

I responded to you on the Saks thread with my Saks DNA history - I will update on my current Saks order when it is concluded, but it is higher than my last.
Will update on Farfetch once it is completed, as well. 1 item, over $1k but not by much. Seems to be going alright, but I know they're notoriously very hard/impossible, so will update once I know for sure what the outcome is.

BB,  2 items ~$200
Glorious, 4 items -$300
Amazon, 4 items -$1200
Costco, 1 item -$950

Nice work. Can you go into specifics about item and method please.

I've heard of people getting rebilled from orders they placed a year prior.

That sounds extreme, where/when did you hear this ?

Was your Oakley account new or aged and did you just claim the box was completely empty ? Multiple items or just 1 ?

Sunglass Hut designer shades 3x
Walmart Airpods 1x
Philips S/N SE 1x
Macys Perfume 1x
Gillette Claim 1x

Philips is still easy, sunglass hut is just giving away shades lol. And Gillette is pretty smooth, for 50 bucks and under they usually dont ask for pop, anything over and you'll pop.

how much was the sunglasses hut that you hit, 3 designer shades at once?

The 3 shades were 3 different orders a month apart.  Price of each, around 300.

Did you do the same address and credentials how did it work?

I've never come across anything of the sort.

The question Is, If no SEs were performed In between, why would the company reopen the claim and Investigate It a year later?

It did indeed sound extreme. I remember hearing about it in the Ressu Refunds telegram. This was on 12/30/2022, but the guy claimed he got a rebilling email from Costco from a Macbook he refunded a year prior.

This is the only recent incident I can find of Costco rebilling, so I probably wouldn't be too worried.
