Actually pretty easy. Bought 2 jackets , said one was missing. Said i wanted to go on a hike etc. Took one and half week. After that they offered a refund or a new jacket.

I'd be surprised If they didn't request the return.

My protein sometimes offers a "without prejudice credit to the account", meaning they refund the account even though the circumstances of the claim don't warrant It. It's similar to Apple's one-time exception.
