Re-optimising web server #1
It's pretty slow right now. Agonising to browse the site for me.

RE: Re-optimising web server #2
It's not slow now. Was earlier, due to technical difficulties.

It's quite slow. I'm located in the UK if that helps you, although I am pretty sure it is a webserver issue.

index.php?debug=1

What kinda time does it take to generate the main page?

The index page takes 1.5 seconds to load without any assets.

You might be correct.

RE: Re-optimising web server #5
I'd be on a lot more if this site took less than 1 second to load a page.

That's what tabs are for.

You seriously click a page and then open another tab for something else and come back to sinisterly?

Let me get this straight, a loading time of a little over one second Is a major Inconvenience for you?

Guess what, my internet connection is slower than crap. You learn ways to "speed it up."

This is how I do it, I scroll down to the recent posts. I find like five (sometimes more) I'm interested in and I open all of them in new tabs. Then I wait a little and when a SL tab finishes, I read it and continue to the next tab. (because it will probably be loaded after I'm done reading that tab)

Not major but it'd definitely make for a more pleasant viewing experience. By the way it is not my internet connection slowing down loading the web page. It is the unoptimised webserver taking a full second to just process your request.
