Contacted via chat, they requested photo via e-mail; refund issued one day later.

Just play it like you're dumbfounded after having found the sunglasses are missing from the box.
You have no idea about how that could've happened: the only thing you know is those sunglasses were meant to be a gift, and now you won't be able to do that.
Thus there's no point in a replacement, the only valid solution being a full refund.

Got my refund today £250 easy

Has anyone else done sunglasses hut aswell? I've orderd from them this morning anyway. Hoping to use the same method. They are owned by the same parent company, hoping its a diffrent set of reps

Ray-Bans "delivered", if you can call it that. The UPS courier dropped them over a garden gate. It's a five foot drop.

Proof of delivery says:

Received by
over gate

Is this a good opportunity to do a double dip, DNA for replacement followed by EB? These were ordered from the Ray-Ban website.

I had a courier throw a box with "FRAGILE" written all over it over a 7 feet gate today... Smartasses.
Back to the main subject, I'd say go for it. The box being thrown over a gate doesn't mean somebody couldn't have well pulled it through the bars and gone away with it.

Although the ownership Is under one entity, they'd operate Independently.
