It's fine, but I think that the fire doesn't really fit the theme. Maybe if you lower the opacity of the fire by a bit It'll appeal to me more.

It's not really banner sized at all. The stock is all over the place. Try to clean it up a bit.

It's a little better, but if you look at the fire it looks like you copy+pasted it, you should erase some parts so the fire looks different.
Also, fire always goes in the same direction as the wind. Change the fire so it's pointing to the same direction, to add flow.

Banners usually have a transparent background so im not sure how this could be used. But just a suggestion when you enter I would suggest that you try and fit the design to a smaller width

I think it'd be better if you got rid of the black background because it flows in too quickly.

No offense but the difference between the original and "touch-up" is a bit more brighter and colours are contrasting more. Can you point out what you actually did?
