If you mean to use on this site then it really isn't needed. The current Userbars, though old, still fits the site very well. If you are on the other hand looking for some Userbars on another site or if it is just for fun, it can just as well be done.

Well, since DZ merged, it would be fair to use the userbars. They match the theme quite well.

If you mean that you are planning on changing to the DZ Userbars, you could just as well arrange to get some new ones made. As older member of DZ might been rather bored of the ones used on there.

No im saying why dont we get some of the graphics designers to make some new userbars for here, Then have a voting topic and which ever user bar set gets picked gets put on a trial run for a week or so to see if they look good with the theme and such

On a side note I can make a set a userbars buy I would have to do it during my tech class.

That might be an idea if the owner/leader decides to change the userbars. ( I know someone said that we were thinking on switching to the DZ userbars though, something that I think is a bad move myself. )

That is generalizing a lot and its rather a bad thing to say. Its okay that some people do that to gain a reputation and proclaim that they've made it. However, that doesn't mean as much as 50% of does it. Not only that, but the use of PSDs isn't something bad for an artist. It might be very good practice and a way of making something close to perfect. Many people that uses PSDs also alters the PSD's original form so much that its not recognizable that it is the same PSD in the end.

Its still ripping. If its your own psd I don't care. It the easy way out and you are not learning

Its not ripping if you alter the PSD so its not viable to the original image. ( If you use it for lengths, shapes and so on ) If used for that and that way, its using a resource. Same as using a font, pattern or any other resource created by another person. Many people have learned a lot from the use of PSDs, I've personally recommended it to my fellow class members as they tend to be better learning that way that being told what to do. Its useful, as you can view how an artist have made up the work, how they made each effect and so on. Then use that knowledge in your own work later.
