Godzilla Hacker Takes Down Several Pakistani Government Websites

While the rest of the world was engaged in cyber security and privacy, an Indian patriotic hacker targeted 43 major Pakistani Government official websites, including ‘President of Pakistan’, ‘Government of Pakistan’, 'Ministry of Defence’, and whole Ministry of Pakistan.

Indian hacker Godzilla claimed responsibility to hack into one of the main proxy server of the Pakistan Government,

This is never-ending. Thousands of websites are hacked on both sides every year in this ongoing Cyber-War between India and Pakistan.
The worst was on 26/11. Nearly 2000 Pakistani Websites were hacked on a single day [In reply to the the Terrorist Attacks in Mumbai that killed several innocent people].

I have 2 opinions on this.

Opinion 1: This is pointless. What did they really accomplish?

Opinion 2: If "hackers" would work together against targets for a valid good cause imagine what could really become of this.

I remember the days that "hackers" actually stood for something and got shit done instead of waiting to get pissed off then deface a few websites....

Exactly. Unfortunately, most of the "Hackers", on both sides are skids who use Automated Tools like Havij for Sqli, to take down the sites. And then brag on forums and blogs about their so-called achievements. Some elites one are okay, but I've personally found some skids out there who hacked a site, and left a deformed page with a nice little Skull Logo and the tag - Hacked by Random_Guy, with his Facebook profile link in cool colorful fonts. :Mini-Smile:
