Friend, hit the enter key.
I'm not reading that massive wall of text.
Put some spaces in that, make it readable.

I mean, I wanted to be descriptive and I don't think that would make much of a difference. I edited with a TLDR and tried putting in more breaks

This. It's well-written actually, you can afford some punctuation bro.

Aight, thanks.

Well, it seems like the grounds of your claim are pretty weak, this FTID guy fucked ya.
Seller actually being honest or not.. You will never know, still I would consider this a dead end no matter what.
I wouldnt expect much from eBay either, quite obvious they sided with the seller.

Perhaps still try to push them a little more, even if only to get a denial letter, which you could later add to your chargeback case.

If they dont budge, a chargeback seems like your only way out.
It would all come down to : how involved is the team reviewing your chargeback case?
I'm no expert on that topic tbh. We can at least address the basics : is it some shady neobank? Is your account aged with legit activity?

For me, the set up was difficult. Refunding from a seller on ebay was already shady. You add a FTID amateur and you have an almost impossible case of refund. You should call it here and try better sites / refunder next time.
